my machines
My rule is, never give up any machines :)
As a result, I get more and more computers as the time goes. I'd say almost half of them are basically doing nothing. I just don't have enough time to play with them. But I'm sure I will definitely use and play with each of them in the future.
So here's a list of machines and boxes I've got so far. There is a standard way for naming machine name/hostname for all my boxes. Basically, it has to be a name of a character in Dragon Ball, with a corresponding meaning related the story in Dragon Ball. Stuff like the level of power of the character corresponding to the power/speed of the machine, etc... And if you want to have a look at the pictures of these machines, just check out the photos section, they should be there more or less...
Here is a map of all my machines in the past, click on the photo below to see a large one.
I've moved and so right now I don't have rooms for all machines like that anymore, yet...

This box doesn't do much at the moment. It was meant to be my main server for files and stuffs. Running Debian potato. Linux kernel 2.2.19. IceWM. Currently serving me on my left, with a 15" monitor.

A Pentium 133 from my friend. It's like my hack-and-crack box now, doing not much except I've used it a while ago for talking to my ipaq via the serial port. It's serving on my right currently.

An old Sparc 4 with a 17" monitor. It's currently in sleeping stage. Never used at the moment. Debian installed. Sometime later I'd like to set that up to do service type thing I guess.

AlphaServer AS2100 with dual 233 CPU. It is huge. I didn't realize it was so big until I went to pick it up (i.e. stupidity in action). I'm really hoping one day I can set that up and use it to do something useful. Currently I don't have the space to really play with it. If you are interested in buying/using this machine, please e-mail me.

Multia Alpha 166, with 64mb ram. It's an old product. It still has its nice digital logo on it. It's running as a network boot, diskless client right now. It's my bedside box too :) Running Debian, Linux 2.2.19. More photos at my multia.

The Compaq iPAQ. StrongARM 233 processor. 16mb flash rom and 32mb ram. I got it with the dual sleeve pcmcia jack too, with a pcmcia ethernet card I can hook it to my network. Also I have the compact flash to pcmcia adapter and the smartmedia to pcmcia adapter too. Running Familiar 0.4+, Linux 2.4.6 kernel, together with a lot of my own customization. The reason for its name is that it's a mobile device just like giru! (Update: I now own 3 iPAQs, including this 3630, and another 2nd hand 3630. My latest one is now 3870)

Netwinder! It's a StrongARM 275MHz box, two ethernet interfaces. Just for the sake of having an ARM box so that I can do some ARM native compile. Hmm why ubuu? I suppose ubuu has a pretty strong arm :) Photos at the netwinder section.
